Intermediate/Senior .NET Developer (offline)

Our client is a product company and a major player in the point of sale domain, servicing more than 100,000 food service sites in the USA and actively penetrating the European market (UK and Spain to name a few).


We are building a product suite that covers the full cycle of restaurant operations, including an in-store Point of Sale (POS) platform, cloud-based data management, systems for restaurant internal operations (inventory, scheduling, payroll), online ordering, complex analytics solution, and reporting tools. BackOffice (as a part of POS ecosystem) makes it easy to fill schedules and give employees flexibility. The owner gets shift coverage display, dynamic labor costs as well as the owner’s schedule, and provides employee self-service for shift swaps, time off and management contact info.
BackOffice provides and combines a wide range of features: creating schedules, payroll audit, digital till tracking, staff messages, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

- Working on a product that has proven to be one of the best in domain
- Working directly with a Product Core team
- Improving product, adding new features/security improvements
- Actively participate in the design/build of the software engineering lifecycle
- Be involved in planning, design, and execution with Agile delivery methodologies
- Write code following best practices
- Create technical documentation (TDD, SRS)
- Utilize the best engineering practices (unit tests, code/design review, etc.)
- Stand up for high-quality solutions and bring new ideas to life
- Take part in technical discussions, listen to arguments, and apply critical thinking
- Build professional relationships with clients (daily stand up, tech discussions, process discussions etc.)

Required skills

3+ year's work experience with:
- Good understanding of the .NET Framework
- C#
- Willingness to work with VB and WinFormsMicrosoft
- Web Services, WebAPI (this product is in the cloud)
- Good Microsoft SQL skills
- Good English
