Data Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to play a pivotal role in transforming our analytics and data systems into scalable and repeatable processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Analytics, to design, develop, and maintain robust data models and pipelines. The Data Analytics Engineer will lead the development of scalable data models, integration platforms, and analytics pipelines. This role involves optimizing processes for ingesting and analyzing large enterprise datasets, especially in a healthcare context. The ideal candidate is innovative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in data processing and architecture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and SQL.
- Designing and optimizing data models to improve analytics and reporting processes.
- Building data pipelines for cleaning, validating, and aggregating large datasets.
- Writing and integrating data unit tests to ensure pipeline reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to create innovative solutions for analytics challenges.
- Leveraging AWS services for efficient data storage and processing workflows.
- Contributing to the architecture of analytics platforms that support business intelligence.

Who You Are and What You Bring:
- 4+ years of professional experience working with data and analytics.
- Proven expertise in creating automated ETL processes using Python, Snowflake, and SQL.
- Strong experience in data validation, processing, and debugging large datasets (over 1GB).
- Deep understanding of healthcare and/or healthcare claims data.
- Experience with AWS frameworks (e.g., S3, DynamoDB, Batch, Step Functions).
- Knowledge of modern data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
