UI/UX and Web Designer (HealthTech and Petcare Platforms) Offline

We are looking for a talented and creative UI/UX & Web Designer to provide UX , UI and web design across two exciting new platforms with possible new projects.

1. PhageMatch – An AI-powered clinical tool revolutionizing bacteriophage therapy discovery and accessibility.
2. Project SnoopyDog – A unique dog borrowing platform bridging pet owners and responsible borrowers.

You will be working closely with product owners/stakeholders, and developers to transform client vision into intuitive, user-friendly, and elegant interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quick user research and persona development across healthcare and petcare domains
• Create user journeys, wireframes, and clickable prototypes (Figma or similar)
• Design responsive, accessible UI for web portals (clinicians, patients, biobank managers, pet owners, and borrowers)
• Take part in project discovery phases and estimates
• Translate complex logic (e.g., genomic data matching, premium memberships) into smooth, actionable flows
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Refine designs based on usability testing and stakeholder feedback
• Develop marketing landing pages and support material (homepages, sign-up flows, dashboards, etc.)

Your Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in UI/UX design with a focus on web platforms.
• Proven ability to design across diverse user groups
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, or relevant).
• Experience designing responsive interfaces with an emphasis on usability and visual clarity.
• Understanding of design systems, and mobile-first principles.
• Bonus: Familiarity with healthtech, biotech, or petcare domains.
• Bonus: Experience collaborating with full-stack teams using modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, WordPress, etc.).
