IT Security Specialist (Germany) (offline)

Requirements:
β€’ Strong security background (understanding of risk, security policies etc.)
β€’ Experience in the field of monitoring and use case management
β€’ Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
β€’ Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
β€’ Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
β€’ Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
β€’ Strong analytic mindset
β€’ CISSP, SSCP, CISM, ISO27001 or other relevant certifications
β€’ Upper-Intermediate English

Big plus:
- experience with Splunk (e.g. understanding data sources, writing rules)
- knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Responsibilities:
- lead and oversee all aspects of our cybersecurity program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data processed using information security standards and approved industry best practices.
- implement and manage the ISO 27001 based Information Security Management System.
- compile the overarching security goals for the organization.
- develop the list of requirements from interested parties and monitor their implementation.
- coordinate risk assessments and business impact analysis, the creation of response plans and testing.
- develop and propose information security guidelines and policies, trainings for teams.
- create awareness on information security on all organizational levels.
- propose security improvements and measures, budget and resources required.
- monitor outsourced services compliance to established security requirements.
- lead security and compliance reporting.
- ensure that agreed actions are performed.
- communicate security related information to company leaders and customer.
- advise top management on all security matters.
