Backend / Full-Stack Engineer, Flexible Schedule, AI-Powered Platform to $4000

At Compeers AI, we're building intelligent systems that blend data-driven insight with LLM-powered workflows. We operate at the intersection of AI, automation, and human decision-making to deliver smart, end-to-end market research solutions. We're a small, sharp, and pragmatic team looking to bring on a strong Middle Backend / Full-Stack Engineer to help us scale up our AI-first infrastructure. 

Tech Stack

Django, GraphQL, React, with some microservices in FastAPI and TypeScript

What You'll Work On

• Architect and build performant, scalable features
• Implement and refine prompt engineering patterns
• Integrate deeply with AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Build and optimize structured workflows that rely on LLM outputs and automation
• Maintain and expand our GraphQL-based backend
• If full-stack inclined, contribute to UI/backend interactions with React and TypeScript
• Review code, improve dev workflows, and maintain a high standard of engineering practices

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience (Python-focused)
• Experience designing and working within Django-based architectures
• LLM integration experience and excellent prompt engineering skills
• Understanding of backend best practices (async, architecture)

• Experience with Git, Linux, and PostgreSQL

   

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with machine learning or data science pipelines
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesgraph
• Understanding of frontend systems (React), GraphQL and TypeScript
