Python Developer for Data Scraping (PST Business Hours) (offline)

OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based outsourcing/outstaffing IT company with headquarter in Kiev. We are looking for an experienced Python Developer for Data Scraping (PST Business Hours) who can participate in a large, fast-growing Silicon Valley project (the end-to-end eCommerce solution combining analytics, content management and reporting all in one platform) and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with other team members to deliver innovative solutions, understanding the business` needs and architecting an appropriate solution. This is a full-time and long-term position.

Your Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 3 years of Python development experience;
- 1+ years of experience of Scrapy development;
- Knowledge of: Requests, Xpath, Jmespath, Regular expressions;
- Experience with Git;
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocol, object-oriented programming, and design patterns;
- Intermediate English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;
- ABILITY TO WORK IN PST TIME ZONE (4 PM — 1 AM by Kyiv).

Nice to have:
- Deep knowledge of Scrapy framework;
- Experience with Node.js/Puppeteer;
- Microservices and back-end development experience;
- Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes;
- AWS ecosystem;
- PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis/Elasticsearch experience;
- Working with Jira or other bug tracking systems;
- Remote working experience.

You will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining Python scripts for scraping complex websites;
- Refactoring current code base for better quality and maintainability;
- Debugging production issues/bugs and fixing them appropriately.
