Senior Java [Scala] Developer (offline)

UK startup is looking for a Full Stack Senior Scala/Java developer. Our goal is to build a recommendation engine for e-commerce websites using cutting-edge technologies: Machine Learning, AI, Big Data. Dataset of portraits of clients is used for the creation of a next-generation algorithm. The system provides a set of widgets and personalized analytical tools to a client, whether helps to increase conversion rates for online retailers and brands.

• You will improve existing ML models increasing the quality of predictions.
• Work in a cross-functional distributed team.
• Making decisions based on data analysis and metrics.
• You will use technologies like Play Framework (Scala, Java), Knockout.js,
Node.js.
• You will use Amazon Web Services for different purposes.
A convincing background
• You are already an expert in hands-on programming in Scala and Java.
• You have experience in building ML models already or you are a fast learner and passionate about big data.
• MongoDB is your good friend.
• Upper intermediate spoken English.
• You have 5+ years of experience.
• A positive mind-set and soft skills to work with various people.
