Junior Underwriter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent command of the English language, a high level of trustworthiness, and an ability to work effectively with computers. While prior finance experience is a plus, it is not mandatory—what matters most is your commitment to accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess applications and financial documents to determine risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Analyze financial data to make informed decisions about loan approval, insurance policies, or credit assessments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in English to gather necessary information and clarify details.
• Work with internal systems and databases to process, track, and update applications.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all documents within assigned deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements:

• Exceptional written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• High level of trustworthiness and integrity when dealing with confidential information.
• Basic knowledge of finance is preferred, but not required—willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
• Ability to work between 6 AM and 2 PM PST.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in underwriting, finance, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
