Backend Developer (Elixir / Phoenix LiveView) to $1800

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience working with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView. Our team is building modern, high-load web applications, and we need someone who thrives in a functional programming environment and is familiar with the BEAM ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Elixir and Phoenix LiveView
• Work on high-performance, real-time systems
• Optimize system performance and ensure reliability
• Collaborate closely with frontend and backend developers
• Participate in the design and architecture of new services

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Elixir
• Strong knowledge of Elixir and Erlang
• Hands-on experience with Phoenix Framework, especially LiveView
• Solid understanding of functional programming principles
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture
• Experience using Git for version control
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD, deployment setup)
• Familiarity with testing tools (ExUnit, property-based testing)
• Knowledge of other BEAM-based technologies
