We are looking for a skilled PHP Backend Developer to support our team in developing, implementing, and maintaining a Loyalty System for an e-commerce platform specializing in outdoor gear and adventure equipment.

This is a long-term opportunity to work on a meaningful and growing product in a collaborative, international team.

✅ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience with PHP 7+
• Solid hands-on experience with at least one modern framework: Laravel, Symfony, or Magento
• Proficiency in MySQL (PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Experience in API development and system integrations
• Familiarity with scalable architectures and backend best practices
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks efficiently
• Must reside in the EU (GDPR compliance)
   

💻 Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Loyalty System as part of the e-commerce platform
• Learn and work with OXID eShop (used within the platform)
• Optimize backend processes to ensure scalability and performance
• Participate in project discussions, technical planning, and decision-making
• Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Proactively suggest improvements and follow clean code and backend best practices
