System / Business Analyst to $4000

Description of the project and team:

Softengi is looking for a skilled Business/System Analyst to join an international project requiring business trips to the Caribbean region. The project will last up to two years, providing valuable international experience and the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment.

Expected duties are:

• Conduct business process analysis and requirement gathering to understand the needs of different ministry departments.
• Support the implementation of MMIS from analysis through to deployment
• Work with stakeholders, including MECYS and ICT teams, to refine business requirements and translate them into system specifications
• Develop and maintain system test plans to ensure the system functions as expected
• Assist in the development of analytical reports and dashboards for data visualization.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements, including process optimization and technology enhancements.
• Support system integration efforts with external systems through APIs and web services.
• Conduct training and user support to ensure a smooth transition for ministry staff.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis and technology-driven transformations, including process, technology, operations, and policy/procedure changes
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and executing system test plans
• Hands-on experience in programming, data analysis, and building analytical reports and dashboards
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing information systems of similar size and complexity
• Knowledge of MMIS and/or ERP systems is considered an asset
   

Will be a plus:

• Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• Understanding of government data systems and regulatory requirements
