Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for Email Marketing Specialist (CRM & Automation)
We are developing an innovative home-swapping platform that makes it easier for people to travel while leveraging their own home.
Our mission is to create seamless, trust-based exchanges, and we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Email Marketing Specialist to own our CRM efforts and drive user engagement through automation.

As our Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the entire CRM and email automation flow. You’ll map out the customer journey, build marketing automation flows, and continuously refine them to maximize user engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities:

 

Customer Journey Mapping & Communication Plan

• Develop a clear user journey from website visit to conversion.
• Identify key triggers, messaging opportunities, and potential drop-off points.
• Align the customer journey with our marketing automation strategy (email, SMS, push notifications).

 

Marketing Automation Setup & Optimization

• Design and implement automated email flows (e.g., onboarding, engagement, retention).
• Define triggers, segmentation rules, and personalization strategies.
• Build and optimize email templates, copy, and visual assets.
• Select and manage the right email marketing tool (e.g., Klaviyo, Customer.io, or an alternative).
• Run A/B tests and analyze performance to improve key metrics.

 

Leveraging Our Existing User Base for Outreach

• Clean, segment, and optimize our current email database.
• Develop and execute outreach campaigns (messaging, frequency, channels).
• Track performance and continuously improve campaigns based on data insights.

 

Ongoing Optimization & Growth

  • • Monitor key metrics such as open rates, CTR, and conversions.• Experiment with new automation strategies to enhance user retention.
    • Collaborate with product, design, and growth teams to align email marketing with overall business goals.

    Who You Are:
    3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or marketing automation.
    Upper-intermediate level of English
    Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms like Klaviyo, Customer.io, HubSpot, or Mailchimp.
    Strong understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle marketing.
    Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and performance tracking.
    Excellent copywriting skills and ability to craft compelling emails.
    Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.
    Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
