Manual QA engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
• Manual testing of web applications
• Defects management in the bug-tracking system
• Test documentation management
• Collaboration with developers and business analysts

Required skills:
• Work experience in software testing 2+ years
• Experience in manual testing of web applications
• Knowing of software testing methodologies
• Experience with usage of bug-tracking systems
• Experience with management of testing documentation and reports
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (SQL Server)
• Understanding of web services, XML, SOAP
• Experience in root cause analysis
• An intermediate or higher level of written and spoken English

Will be a plus:
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Basic C#
• Experience with TFS and TeamCity
• Knowledge of QA best practices

Education:
• Higher education
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics is preferred

Personal skills:
• Pro-activeness in communication with developers, BAs, and clients
• Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, result oriented
• Willing to gain new skills and learn new technologies
