Senior Data Scientist Offline

Hive, on behalf of our client — a Saas platform that integrates all parties involved in the property maintenance process, allowing owners, tenants, and service providers to have a great experience in and around rental homes — is looking for a Senior Data Scientist.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end data science cycle: designing, training, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring machine learning models.
• Be responsible for choosing, improving, and applying various methods from statistics, machine, and deep learning technologies to solve business problems.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and products for cross-portfolio use cases.

• Customer Churn Model, Forecasting, Segmentation, Classification and Regression

   

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in Python.
• Strong record in applying Machine Learning to real-world datasets in a productive environment, and familiar with the main ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Torch, XGBoost, LightGBM).
• (MS, Ph.D.) Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a comparable degree program or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience with LLMs and frameworks like Langchain. You know the best practices and keep following the field so that you use the latest ones.
