Head of Product
On behalf of our Client, a well-established financial institution from the Caribbean region Mobilunity is looking for a Head of Product.
Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to make this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, working on the edge of what current fintech may offer.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for mobile and web banking platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, creating compelling value propositions to enhance customer engagement.
- Manage and optimize electronic channels, ensuring seamless digital interactions.
- Work closely with product engineering, UX/UI, compliance, and security teams to design and deliver customer-centric digital solutions.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and market adoption.
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of digital banking platforms.
- Identify and implement innovative features to meet market needs and improve the digital customer experience.
- Gain a deep understanding of the true Voice of the Customer (VoC) and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
- Leverage customer journey mapping to optimize touchpoints and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Balance commercial strategy and talent management to ensure the effective execution of digital transformation.
- Integrate at a high strategic level within the organization, strengthening the team with valuable expertise
Required Skills & Experience: - Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in digital banking or fintech.
- Strong technical acumen and deep understanding of mobile and web platform development.
- Experience in digitalization strategies, product commercialization, and digital marketing.
- Expertise in developing digital banking value propositions that drive customer engagement.
- Knowledge of open banking, API integrations, and embedded finance trends.
- Experience with CX journey mapping and customer experience optimization.
- Ability to develop digital marketing strategies and use data-driven tools for customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and security compliance in digital banking.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Scrum frameworks.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Passion for innovation, fintech, and digital transformation.
- Business-level English proficiency for clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
