We at A1 SolarStore are looking for a Marketing Manager with a background in e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplaces. Our company operates two projects: A1 SolarStore — a marketplace in the solar energy industry, and Setpile — a service platform for the construction industry. We have been operating in the U.S. since 2018 and plan to expand to several new countries in 2025.

 

We have an in-house team (25 people) who share common values. There are also several contractors for supporting roles. We are growing faster than we can fully document our processes. There’s a lot of work, mixed roles, and plenty of opportunities for growth.

 

We need a self-sufficient, thoughtful Marketing Manager who is ready to take responsibility and manage the entire marketing activity of the company: communications (PR), SEO, PPC, analytics, content, and building relationships between the business and key audiences.

 

A strong marketing vision, analytical mindset, and the ability to find growth points (as well as inefficiencies that hinder them) are critically important. You need to be able to shape a strategy and develop the product iteratively. Important: This is not a “boss” position—you must be willing to work hands-on where processes are not yet established or delegation isn’t possible.

 

How We Work

Methodology: Scrum, but without fanaticism. No in-house Scrum Master. 🙂

Key tools: Azure (like Jira), ChatGPT, Notion, Figma, Miro, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Customer.io, Microsoft 365, Google Spreadsheets, Google App Script, Ahrefs, Semrush, Hunter.io, etc.

Key metrics: Revenue, ROI, CPO, traffic (all and brand), recognizability, audience engagement.

 

Responsibilities

Growth, let’s fing grow!**

Traffic management: hypothesis generation & testing, conversion analysis (single, funnels with CRs), key metrics tracking (CPO, CRs, ROI, revenue, etc.).

PR & Communications: developing relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, journalists, and influencers. Creating micro-products, CJMs, newsletters, commercial emails, partnerships, integrations, and reputation management.

Internal media (blog, YouTube) & social media growth: strategy, content planning, and scaling key metrics.

Marketing team management: SEO, PPC, analytics, content.

Documenting marketing processes.

 

Requirements

Proven experience in growing e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplace products.

• Understanding of HADI cycles, Hunt’s ladder, CVP, and key business & marketing metrics in SaaS and e-commerce.

Experience in product design/management is a huge plus.

• Solid understanding of SEO, PPC, content, analytics, and media production. Awareness of global marketing trends (US, EU, etc.).

Data-driven approach: working with raw data in BigQuery, GA, and BI systems should not intimidate you.

5+ years of commercial experience—you should be at the stage where you can say, “We won’t waste time on this, but I have a better plan!”

Systematic thinking and an unstoppable drive for growth. A strong love for structure and intolerance for inefficiency.

• A deep understanding of “Do it right, and it will be right”.

No corporate nonsense: fear of failure, inability to ask questions, hypocrisy, toxicity—such people don’t last in our team.

English B2+. Fluent spoken English is a plus.
