Senior DevOps Engineer

About Us

Everstake is a blockchain company with Ukrainian roots, ranked among the top 10 validators globally. We collaborate with over 80 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain networks. As we grow and continuously improve, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and HashiCorp Vault (or AWS KMS). This role involves tackling complex engineering challenges using cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

Technical Background: 

• Degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of hands-on experience.

Core Skills:

• Proficient knowledge and strong practical experience with Terraform, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proven expertise in GCP KMS (HashiCorp Vault or AWS KMS).
• Understanding and practical experience with CI/CD setup (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• English proficiency B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Proactive approach to learning new tools and solving problems.
• Experience with blockchain infrastructure or validators.
• Knowledge of additional IaC tools (Pulumi, CloudFormation) would be a big plus.
• Experience with Rundeck is a plus.
• Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust architecture.
• Understanding of AIOps practices.
• Basic understanding of Monitoring and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate emerging technological solutions in the blockchain industry.
• Integrate GCP KMS (HashiCorp Vault or AWS KMS) for secrets and key management.
• Implement new solutions or optimize existing infrastructure using modern technologies such as GCP/AWS and Kubernetes.
• Ensure compliance with access policies for critical platform components.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Automate system configurations using configuration management tools.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions for the Validator Infrastructure.
• Enhance infrastructure management using automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure that Validator operating is well and secured.
• Actively Participate in implementing new approaches and technologies across the company.
