What you will do:
β Develop and optimise billing processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency in line with the companyβs financial goals and operational needs.
β Build and maintain strong relationships with payment providers, banks, and external partners in collaboration with a business development specialist.
β Design and document payment workflows to enhance invoicing, payment processing, and reporting efficiency.
β Integrate and manage global payment systems, including Paddle, PayPal, and other third-party payment gateways.
β Ensure regulatory compliance by collaborating with legal and finance teams while implementing fraud prevention measures to mitigate risks and chargebacks.
β Oversee product-driven payment processes, including checkout design, the complete user journey from landing page to payment and product usage, as well as target audience analysis.
β Analyse billing data, monitor key metrics, identify payment decline reasons, and uncover trends to drive informed decision-making.
β Work closely with finance, product, and engineering teams to align payment processes with overall business objectives.
β Proactively address billing-related issues to maintain operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
About you:
β 3+ years of experience in billing and payment products, including working with subscription-based B2C businesses.
β Proven track record of launching and managing new payment methods, taking full ownership of the process (without a technical background requirement).
β Hands-on experience in A/B testing to assess and optimize the adoption of new payment methods, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing conversion rates.
β Deep expertise in global payment systems such as Paddle, PayPal, and others, ensuring smooth transaction processing.
β Proficiency in tracking payment metrics, analyzing performance trends, and identifying reasons for transaction declines.
β Experience in handling payment disputes, with the ability to design and implement effective dispute resolution strategies.
β Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring billing operations are effectively aligned with business objectives.
β Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams and external partners.
β Proficient in English.
Will Be a Plus:
β Experience in obtaining a Merchant ID in Tier-1 markets or, at a minimum, working with relevant regions.
β Strong business development skills, including the ability to negotiate with payment providers and optimize billing strategies to drive growth.
