Frontend Developer for wellness marketplace - long term Offline
Hey there!
We're a travel marketplace looking for a skilled frontend dev. Think you've got what it takes?
We're after someone who gets performance, prefers building components from scratch (unless a library is really necessary), and writes clean, maintainable code (maybe you even use eslint?). Most importantly, we need someone with a super sharp eye for detail, UI, and UX, who can help us make our visuals sleeker.
Ideally, you've got experience with:
Building platforms, web apps, or marketplaces
Working with pretty big codebases
React/Next.js
Tailwind
Bonus points for backend experience (like Ruby on Rails or Python)
We're looking for someone who can work independently for about 60-100 hours a month, and someone who's in it for the long haul! Our current devs have been with us for over 6 years, and we're hoping to find someone who's looking for a similar kind of stability and growth.
Just a heads-up: Please only apply if you've actually worked on platforms/marketplaces and large codebases before.
Shoot us some links to sites you've worked on and your Git repo.
Please reply in human and non AI format.
Higher chances if you also send quick 7-10 minute Loom video from you. In it:
1. Give our site bookretreats.com a quick critique, focusing on the category search and retreat pages. What front-end improvements (UX, design, performance, accessibility, etc.) would you suggest? Be specific!
