QA Engineer (offline)

For one of our clients we are looking for experienced QA who's interested in long-term cooperation.
We consider candidates in Uzhgorod (office) or in Kiev (remote cooperation).
Project is a jewellery innovation business. Software is in production and have many clients signed up and using the product including large household names.

The QA is responsible for ensuring that changes made to technical solutions are subjected to manual and automated testing. They provide insight into ways new requirements should be evaluated and delivered to ensure we are undertaking quality assurance as opposed to quality control as much as possible.

Responsibilities
Functional Testing
- Creation and maintenance of test documentation;
- Requirements analysis and clarification for testing purposes, raising flags in case gaps are detected;
- Test execution and tracking test results;
- Finding issues and report them using software tools for testing and bug tracking (JIRA).
Regression Testing
- Support test scope definition within the context of each release/delivery;
- Monitor deliverables quality level and consult with others involved in the change process.

Skills & Experience
- ISTQB Foundation completion is highly desirable.
- Experience in testing Web and Mobile applications;
- Strong understanding of web and web-related technologies;
- Good knowledge and understanding of the software testing methodologies and techniques;
- Experience in working with testing documentation: writing test cases, checklists, bug reports, product documentation;
- Possession of various testing techniques: testing requirements and their addition, functional testing, user interface testing, usability, cross-browser and cross-platform testing, etc.
- Basic understanding and experience with SQL;
- Practical experience in Agile/Scrum development processes;
- Basic knowledge of testing API endpoints;
- Experience with C# automation testing will be a plus.
