Scripter/Junior Developer (Contract) (offline)

Snapchat is the camera used by over 180 million people every day to Snap with family, watch Stories from friends, see events from around the world, and explore expertly-curated content from top publishers. In short, we are a passionate team working hard to build the best platform in the world for communication and storytelling.

We are searching for a Scripter/Developer to work on site at Snap Inc! Working closely with the Camera Platform team, you will play a vital role in shaping Snap’s development of new and innovative content experiences. This opportunity is a contract role and the worker will be employed by an external agency.

What you’ll do:
• Conceptualize and design new mobile interactive experiences centered around the camera
• Own the development of new interactive experiences from prototype to product release
• Collaborate with Creative and Engineering teams to make the most fun, surprising, and stable products possible

What we’re searching for:
• BA/BS in Computer Science or another related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with one of the programming languages
• Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, analytic geometry)
• Experience with Git
• Intermediate English or higher
• A great communicator, self-starter, collaborator, and team player
• A passion for Snapchat and creativity!

Nice-to-haves:
• Experience in working with graphics
• Unity3D
