Rust Engineer with Web3/Crypto Offline

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Rust Developer to join our rapidly growing Development team. In this role, you will be heavily involved in designing and developing cutting-edge on-chain strategies, collaborating closely with our experienced crypto engineers. You will conduct in-depth research on existing advanced strategies, propose and implement your own, and play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our Research & Development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Research and Experimentation: Explore and evaluate emerging Web3 technologies, blockchain protocols, and DeFi platforms.
• Independent Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, demonstrating a strong ability to find creative solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other developers and researchers to brainstorm ideas, and share findings.
• Teamwork: Participation in the development of various on-chain strategies.

Qualifications:

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.
• Strong Rust Expertise: Experience in developing high-performance, scalable applications using Rust.
• Experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Web3 Enthusiasm: A strong interest in and understanding of Web3 technologies, including blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Crypto Passion: Demonstrable passion for the cryptocurrency market, DeFi, and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
• Responsibility and Time Management: Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results within deadlines.
• English Proficiency: Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
   

Bonus Points:

• Prior involvement in blockchain-related projects or open-source contributions.
• Experience with High-Frequency Trading (HFT) and/or Miner Extractable Value (MEV).
• Experience in writing smart contracts on Solana.
• In-depth knowledge of optimization algorithms, probability theory, and game theory.
