Senior Video Codecs Developer (offline)

For the biggest video streaming companies we create highly optimized video codecs and decoders, enabling 4k 60fps video decoding on different media platforms.
We are the team of world-class experts in media processing. We work with the most modern video codec standards and use all power of hardware resources (both CPU and GPU) to achieve the best possible performance on a particular device.
And now we are looking for skillfull developers willing to push SW and HW limits and produce fast and effective code.

Responsibilities:
Develop new video compression/processing algorithms using both CPU and GPU that effectively implement standard video codecs
Code optimization, profiling
Code review
Estimation of development activities
Unit tests implementation

Mandatory Skills:
- Good knowledge in video and image coding principles, algorithms, and techniques.
- Good knowledge in video compression standards, such VP9, AV1, HEVC, VVC.
- Experienced in assessing visual quality using both objective metrics and subjective techniques.
- Good software design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
- Good C/C++ programming skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with GPU compute programming (Cuda, OpenCL, etc.).
- Familiarity with CPU SIMD programming (SSE, AVX, Neon, etc.).
