Senior BigCommerce Developer Offline

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced BigCommerce Developer to join our team and help build, optimize, and maintain high-quality e-commerce websites on the BigCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in BigCommerce development, with additional technical knowledge being a valuable advantage. Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) is required for effective communication within our international team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using the BigCommerce platform.
• Work with the team to design and implement new features, themes, and functionalities.
• Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and payment gateways into BigCommerce stores.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and optimized site performance.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO to improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Stay up-to-date with BigCommerce updates, features, and e-commerce trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers.

Requirements:

• Experience with BigCommerce development, including theme customization and app integrations.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid templating.
• Familiarity with the BigCommerce APIs for building custom integrations and applications.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce workflows, product management, and payment gateway integrations.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of website optimization practices (SEO, page speed, mobile optimization).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
