Senior QA/Business Analyst (offline)

Our team is responsible for several GUI applications, which allow to adjust information about securities and prices, export the information and manage the configuration of the backend components.

Project is developed by several teams located in a few geographical locations (USA, Kiev and China).

From technical point of view GUI applications are web applications written in Java and JavaScript and .NET desktop applications (WPF, winforms) . They communicate with Java EE backend deployed in Oracle Weblogic using web services (both SOAP and RESTful).

Responsibilities:
- Preparing test cases for the features
- Conducting early acceptance testing
- Data discrepancy investigation
- Eliciting, elaborating and documenting requirements

Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor Degree
- Proven experience in a technical QA and BA positions
- Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
- Practical experience in both reading and documenting functional requirements
- Excellent communication skills (work will be conducted in English)
- Solid SQL knowledge
- Team-player and ability to build strong working relationships amongst diverse peers

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science
- Subject matter expertise in one or more functional areas within a bank
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies
- Prior development experience helpful but not necessary
- Experience with large-scale datasets and/or transactional data
- Prior experience with reconciliation and data quality reporting
