Senior Software Engineer / Ruby on Rails (Singapore) (offline)

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will be given a unique opportunity to work on high impact projects across different teams. As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include:

* Working across different teams to build and ship world-class features for our users
* Writing scalable and testable restful JSON web services and APIs, and integrating external systems using custom soap based third party APIs
* Participating in architectural designs of various modules, code reviews, and test plans reviews
* Contributing to continual improvement of our Engineering Culture through the improvement of your craft alongside with your peers

Requirements

Must Have

* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other equivalent degrees/experience
* Familiar in any one of these programming languages (Java, Ruby, Nodejs (javascript))
* 3 to 6 years’ of experience in software product development, with hands-on experience in Golang development at least for a year (>= 1 year)
* Experience working on SQL and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.)
* Knowledge and experience of software development tools (GitHub, Jira, Jenkins etc.)
* Experience with TDD/BDD and agile methodologies, or willing to pick--up these skill sets
* Strong communications skills and being comfortable conveying technical requirements to both non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

* Knowledge or experience using Elasticsearch (ELK Stack)
* Knowledge or experience using RabbitMQ, Kafka and microservices-based architecture
