Senior IOS/MacOS Developer (offline)

About the Client:
Our customer provides purpose-built products for IT professionals, MSPs, and DevOps pros. This is value-driven tools that solve a broad range of IT management challenges—whether those challenges are related to networks, servers, applications, storage, virtualization, cloud, or development operations. The main office of company are in Austin, Texas.

About the project:
There are two active teams working on it: Lisbon, Portugal, and Brno, Czech. Lisbon handles backend, mobile and Windows, Brno handles Linux and will expand to Windows in the future. We are out of available Mac talent on these locations to continue the development of that platform, so your side would get the paralel development for Mac (Client and Server applications, the protocol is cross platform so there is a common spec that all the modules use, however there might be added functionality on the top of the protocol that is different for each system, depending on factors like the speed of implementation - Windows normally comes out first - and on the specificities of each platform - Mac modules have some specific features, Windows others, mobiles others more...).

Requirements:
- Experience in development of commercial applications in Objective C with XCode.
- Experience in Swift, ObjectiveC.
- Solid background in multiplatform C++ development.
- Experience developing graphical applications and daemons for Mac OSX.
- Experience working with web sockets.
- Proficiency in developing solutions to work with network protocols like TCP, UDP, SNMP, and operate in P2P communication paradigms.
- Deep understanding of network topologies.
- Experience in developing native protocol implementations from RFC documentation.
- Familiarity with SQL syntax and custom implementations.
- Understanding of memory management, multiple processor use, runtime optimization, concurrency and synchronization.
- Writing well documented code.
