As a Manual Mobile QA Engineer, you will:
- Conduct thorough manual testing of native iOS and Android applications to identify defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts that encompass various aspects of mobile app functionality;
- Perform regression testing to verify that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality;
- Evaluate the mobile app's user interface and user experience, ensuring they align with design and usability standards;
- Verify that mobile apps function seamlessly across different devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions;
- Collaborate with automation engineers to develop automated test scripts for mobile applications, leveraging your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript;
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team;
- Actively participates in refining, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience of experience in manual testing of native iOS and Android applications;
- Knowledge of mobile automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium and WebdriverIO, or Playwright);
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results, identify issues, and effectively communicate them to the development team;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail;
- At least Upper-intermediate level of English (B2 or higher);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality results on time;
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or scripting and test automation is preferred;
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Xray/TestRail, BrowserStack, and Charles Proxy.
