Python Software Engineer (offline)

Tech Stack:
Back-end platform codename is “TOM” – stands from Takeoff Middleware
Back-end: Python/Django, Clojure, GraphQL, celery
DBs: ArangoDB, CouchDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
Other: elasticsearch, firebase, seleniumhq, Jenkins, docker, sentry, kibana, grafana, jira, github

Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement own microservice from scratch
- Integration with other microservices
- Work with the operations team to debug and resolve issues
- Take responsibility for architecture and pilot the use of advanced and emerging toolchains
- Willingness to switch into Clojure
- Write unit tests

Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and skills in basics: Python/Django, DRF, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, RAML is a +
- Practical skill of applying classic design principles and patterns
- Strong drive to test and deploy, not only develop. You take time to explain things to maintainer or internal user
- Consume APIs and collaborate with API and other back-end engineers to optimize system performance
- Intermediate/Upper English

As a plus:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies
- Go-getter and result-oriented attitude
- The desire and motivation to follow new technologies, trends, and best practice
- People management experience - mentoring technical team members
