Strong Middle Manual QA (offline)

Our customer is a multinational lighting manufacturer headquartered in Munich, Germany. Their products and services will help people to see better, communicate better, move better, work and live better, now and in the future.
Our customer's solution is an intelligent lighting tool for growing plants in chambers, racks, vertical farms. The system provides control of lighting devices through a graphical user interface. Customized version of this system is provided to NASA for horticulture researches.
Current project is aimed to support existing solution and add various new functionalities.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain quality during the whole development process to production
• Suggest areas for improvements in internal processes along with possible solutions
• Provide risks identification and prediction that can impact QC and customer
• Provide requirement analysis for defined scope of work
• Participation in technical meetings
• Create/update/review of testing documentation
• Perform testing of the application

Requirements:
Skills requirements:
• Experience in testing cross-platform (Windows/Linux/MacOS) desktop apps as a client with a backend (with data transfer over HTTP)
• Basic ability to work with CI/CD systems (Bitbucket): fetching artifacts, starting a build
• Basic experience with VCS (Bitbucket): fetching the right code revision, switching between branches
• Profound knowledge of web-based applications and how they work
• Experience in tools, techniques, and platforms for defect tracking, test design, and execution
• Ability to prepare test design according to the defined test approach to guarantee full coverage of product specifications or requirements
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile
• Ability to multi-task with multiple priorities and time frames
• Ability to work independently with no supervision

Nice to have:
• Experience testing on the following stack: React.js/Redux/MobX, Node.js; Electron; TypeScript
• Experience with fully automated build process and tools (e.g. Webpack)
• Good understanding of HTTP
• Experience in testing REST web services and the corresponding tools (e.g. Postman)
