Middle/Senior Android developer (offline)

OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Android developer who will join our team in creating Android apps using modern technologies. The product that we are developing for the largest retail chain in Denmark - Coop - is new which means that you will take part in general technical decision making, generate ideas and transform them into reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with Product Owner, teammates and stakeholders on side (regular business trips to Denmark)
- Generate ideas of the app improvement, make researches, perform code review and evaluation of technical decisions of your peer team member
- Other common tasks like writing clean code, performing deployment, writing unit tests, sharing knowledge with other team members, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of software developing experience
- 2+ years of developing Android applications
- Solid experience of code versioning tools (such as Git)
- Perfect knowledge of Java and at least 1 year practical experience in Kotlin
- Good knowledge of development best practices and solid understanding of MVVM, MVP, VCS
- Hands-on experience in writing tests (Unit, UI, Integrational etc)
- Experience in SQLite, Room
- Experience with RxJava2, Dagger2
- Hands-on experience with API integrations
- Ability to build clean code, memory efficient app and fluent UI/UX
- Strong analytical thinking and perfect communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- English level intermediate or higher

AS A PLUS
- Experience in mobile DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience and good knowledge of Android Jetpack will be a huge plus
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering
