Project Description:
Development and delivery of products for one of the world leader provider of financial services for public companies. The main goal of product is providing of service supplying public companies with proxy statements, annual reports and other financial documents, and shareholder communications solutions, such as virtual annual meetings. Currently we are building development team in several locations (New York, Kiev, Krakow and Wroclaw) on those projects
Responsibilities:
• Take part in meetings with business representatives on regular basis discovering the business need to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements
• Produce business requirements documents (BRD) based on outputs from meetings with business representatives
• Organizing, specifying and modeling the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous, documenting the requirements in a format that can be shared with stakeholders and development/QA teams
• Follow up to gain the official approval that BRD meets business needs and could be passed to development teams. Ensuring the requirements map to the real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards
• Identify change requests during discussions with business and extract them into separate portions of scope
• Deliver to development teams clear idea of what should be implemented
• Assist business in testing during QA phase and present working functionality to business users
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong BA general skills including requirements definition
• Understanding of the following domains: account opening, account support, account maintenance, brokerage workflow, advisory business including retirement
• Strong knowledge of trading lifecycle: order entry for WM FAs, downstream post-order workflow
• At least 3-5 years experience is a must in financial/investment domain (preferably: Capital Markets/Financial Markets industry within an Investment Bank, Broker dealer, asset manager or similar experience from consulting or Fin Tech organization)
• Ability to manage Product Backlog and facilitate key meetings such as Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinement and Sprint Review
• Ability to use different requirements elicitation techniques, ability to document requirements in concise and specific manner
• Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders including expectation management
• Domain and Solution modelling skills, knowledge of modelling notations UML, BPMN
• Knowledge of SDLC and BA functions during different SDLC phases
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• SCRUM Product Owner experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience in Finance is a plus
• JIRA / Confluence
