Product Manager (Marketplace model) to $3000

Globy is a platform-marketplace that provides services and tools for global trade and logistics.
 

We are looking for a Product/Growth Manager with extensive experience with marketplace model products to join our team.
 

Requirements:
 

  • Experience with networking-based products (marketplaces) in any niche is essential.
  • Understanding of core metrics and principles of network development: what drives engagement, how to facilitate user retention, etc.
  • Expertise in customer research.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing that focuses on both acquisition and retention. Familiarity with acquisition channels such as PPC and SEO.
  • Proficient with product and marketing analytics: defining the right metrics and product KPIs, user-behavior analysis, understanding report building and data specifics.
  • Understanding of modern UI/UX principles and experience in crafting great UIs (preferably web), promo pages, etc.
  • Experience in writing PRDs and setting requirements for a development team in a concise and easy-to-grasp manner.
  • Confident in written and verbal English.
     

Will be a huge plus:
 

  • Experience with e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with global trade (wholesale) and logistics niches.
  • Understanding of the web's technical side.

Key Responsibilities:

 

You will be working on all aspects of the product's development and marketing.

 

  • Lead Marketplace Product Strategy: Drive the development and growth of networking-based products, focusing on user engagement and retention strategies.
  • Analytics and Metrics Management: Define and track key product metrics and KPIs, conduct user-behavior analysis, and build detailed reports to inform product decisions.
  • Customer Research and Insight: Conduct thorough customer research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences, and integrate these insights into product development.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing Oversight: Manage and optimize multi-channel marketing efforts, including PPC and SEO, to support both user acquisition and retention strategies.
  • UI/UX Development: Collaborate with design teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces and promotional pages that enhance user experience.
  • Product Requirements Documentation: Write clear and concise Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and set detailed requirements for the development team to ensure effective implementation.
