Business Analyst (offline)

We are developing version 0.1 of a new layer-2 blockchain and super app. This involves creating a Substrate-based L2 chain and integrating it with a forked version of the Signal messaging application.
 

Project Stack: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Rust
 

Project Team: Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, Smart Contract Developer, Mobile Developer, BA, PM, UI/UX Designer, QA, Tech Writer, DevOps


Requirements:
 

  • 3+ projects or 2+ years of single-project experience working as a Business Analyst, Proxy/Product Owner or Product Manage
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of business analysis and business process management throughout the project
  • Ability to transform unclear and unstructured information into clear and concise requirements
  • Ability to engage the technical and business teams to drive dependencies resolution and business priorities achievement
  • Experience in supporting pre-sale/sale activities, conducting research/discovery phases
  • Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and testing principles
  • Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with agile methodology
  • Ability to conduct team presentations, demo sessions
  • Fluent English (upper-Intermediate or higher)
  • Analytical mindset

 

Nice to have:
 

• Extensive knowledge of one or more business domains
• BPMN, UML or other notations
• Professional certification (IIBA, PMI, IREB or similar)
• Prototyping and UI/UX design skills

Responsibilities:
 

  • You will help our pre-sales team identify the vision and scope of work for our prospects and leads
  • You will be dealing with various business domains, with primary focus on the blockchain/web3
  • You will be eliciting, modelling, documenting, and communicating the requirements with project stakeholders and development team
  • You will have ability to lead and grow projects from an early inception to the production release and beyond
  • You will be working closely with small, dedicated team(s), consisting of middle+ and senior specialists only
  • You should be ready to exchange your expertise with colleagues and provide support to them, if needed
  • You should be comfortable working both as a team player and in a standalone mode
  • You should be stress-resistant, result-oriented, and flexible, able to navigate high-uncertainty environments
