Java/Scala Engineer (offline)

REQUIREMENTS:

— 2+ years of IT experience

— Experience with Scala (as a huge plus)

— Good knowledge of the Actor Model and experience with the Akka Framework

— Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL

— Knowledge of OOP, FP, RP paradigms

— At least intermediate English (written and spoken)

WILL BE A PLUS:

— Wish to dive into Scala stack (for Java developers)

— Experience with Message Brokers (Kafka) and stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink, Spark, etc.)

— Akka Extensions: Clustering, Sharding

— Testing libraries: ScalaTest, Specs2, ScalaCheck, Mockito

— Experience with CI tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.

— Familiarity with Bitbucket, JIRA and Confluence

— A knack for benchmarking and optimisation

— Containerization with Docker

— Experience with Elasticsearch

— Understanding of web application security fundamentals

— Microservice oriented architecture and patterns such as event sourcing and CQRS
