DevOps Engineer — Paris (Relocation) (offline)

Skills:
You have very strong background/experience in:
— System administration for Linux (RedHat/Centos)
— Scripting: perl, shell, python, batch
— SQL and Oracle/PostGres
— Work in Jenkins/SVN or GitHub (version management), other Continuous integration tools.

You have worked recently with and have a good knowledge of:
— Java (server side)
— You have knowledge of networking

At least 3 to 5 years experience

We offer:
— Salary depending on experience, up-to 55,000 EUR/year (gross)
— We will provide visa

— Working hours: 09:30 to 6:30 (can be adjusted a little)
— Vacation 5 weeks + 10 days (French system)

Main responsibilities include:
1) Participate in a 2-year project to improve and automate our release management process (from Development to Clients/SaaS sites). This includes building, scripting, changing/enhancing current tools, integration of tests into releases, and creation of automation reporting.
2) Participate in performance testing: performance (latency/throughput) testing during release process
3) Participate in the DevOps for the development team (but in conjunction with the projects/Saas teams), including:
— Code compilation maintenance and support of developers
— System administration of all development sites/servers: Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, etc
— Support with technical questions (e.g. middleware deployment, etc)
— Test automation (related to release management)
— Increase automation in releases/DevOps
— Support for projects/Saas in London, Dubai, HK/China
