SENIOR C++ DEVELOPER (offline)

The software is operational in the coupled energy market of CWE region, and there's a plan to develop and deploy it for new region (Scandinavia).

OUR TEAM
Distributed international team is working on the project. You will be part of Kyiv team (3 Snr developers) that will be working on implementation of flow-based calculations for energy market management system. TL/PO from client's side is located in France.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation of new features and bug fixing in the software for electrical network calculations and transfer capacity calculations with use of the modern Flow Based methodology.

The main challenges: computations are be performed on periodical basis and solve optimization problems (linear programming) with big arrays of input/output data; the software is developed as platform-independent, however the main target platform is Red Hat Enterprise Linux (CentOS-based Docker containers).
SKILLS
MUST
• Strong C++ programming
• Experience in Linux at least at user level
• Good experience in electrical power engineering area
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in solving optimization problems
• Be familiar with Python 3 and Java programming languages
• Be familiar with Boost and Xerces libraries
• Be familiar with Docker, SVN, Git, CMake, Conan
• Experience with Swagger and basic understanding of RESTful API would be a plus
