Middle Manual/Automation QA Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a Manual/Automation QA Engineer to join our team.

As a QA Automation Engineer with GeoGuard, you will be responsible for developing automated tests on Python and RobotFramework and reporting on the quality assurance of our software to ensure applications are functional and provide great user experience for all of our customers. This position continuously looks for opportunities to improve product and business processes and maintains open communication with all members from development and product teams.

Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in QA automation and bug tracking systems. You possess intermediate to advanced understanding of the principles of manual and automated testing and object-oriented programming. You are able to interact daily with systems that are used in professional software development such as JIRA.

You are able to, and enjoy, working in small collaborative teams and have good communication and interpersonal skills. You are a fast learner, highly analytical, detail-oriented and are able to work under tight timelines.

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Support up to date python scripts
- Create and maintain RobotFramework tests
- Control and actualize continuous integration system
- Create and maintain checklists and test suites
- Record defects found and assign priority
- Perform all activities for release
- Participate in team meetings and quality assurance walk-throughs according to GeoGuard PDLC guidance

Your skills & qualifications:
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting languages
- Familiarity with RobotFramework tool
- Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery process (Jenkins)
- Experience with version control systems (Git or Mercurial)
- Experience with testing tools (Jira, TestRail etc.)
- Experience with MacOS, Windows, Linux
- Strong knowledge of theory and best practices of software testing
- Intermediate written and spoken technical English enough to discuss issues with teams remotely
