Senior/Lead Angular developer (offline)

Description

The Customer Experience Engineering team at Acquia is responsible for the Acquia Cloud UI and associated services, including authentication, profile management, entitlements, Acquia Uptime, and Acquia Insight.

The Front End Engineer is a senior-level position that will be building out user interfaces in Angular. The successful candidate will be part of a small, distributed Agile team that values code reviews, testable code, and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

- Work in a highly collaborative environment with UX/UI designers, back end engineers, and product management - Ensure the technical feasibility of UX/UI designs - Develop performant, object-oriented JavaScript applications using Angular - Contribute to system architecture discussions, lead projects, mentor junior team members, and deliver high quality, tested code. - Be a key member of the delivery team using Agile Scrum methodology

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript (Show us your GitHub profile) - 3+ years of experience with AngularJS / Angular - Experience with TypeScript / ES6 - Experience with npm, Grunt, Redux, rxjs, ngrx, and other JavaScript tooling - Experience with HTML5 / CSS / SaSS / LeSS - Experience working in Agile and continuous delivery environments - Familiarity with MacOS - Familiarity with Drupal / PHP (Nice to have) - Strong written and verbal communication skills
