— Developing shaders (coding or node-based)
— Non-standard materials
— Animated materials
— Post process
Animations and rig:
— Scripting of animated objects
— Creating complicated state machines
— Procedural animations (animation by the code, a2b, navigations, etc)
Effects (VFX):
— Particle systems
R&D Workflows:
— Be the part of the agile team and workflow
— Participate in planning meetings
— C# scripting
— Schedule work as part of agile sprints
— Work with QA team
— Fix discovered tech-art bugs
— Integrate art team's output into the project
Art workflows:
— Communicate to the art team
— Create requirements for Art team based on feature requirements
— Develop constraints set for imported assets
Optimization and debugging:
— Performance issues detection
— Shader performance optimization
— Scripts performance optimization
— Visual assets settings optimization
— Atlasses optimization
2D and 3D software:
— 3D modeling skills
— Texture creation in 2D software
Procedural Content Generation
Custom tools:
— Custom editor extensions
— Creating automation and validation tools for art pipeline
