Senior DevOps engineer (offline)

Senior DevOps Engineer (Part-time job ~5 hours per day, Monday-Thursday)

Duties and Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management:

- Architect, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components.

- Optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement monitoring and alerting systems to identify and address issues.

DevOps Automation:

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage Azure resources.

- Streamline development workflows and improve efficiency through automation.

Implement configuration management solutions to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.

Security and Incident Response:

- Develop and implement security best practices for Azure environments.

- Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

- Monitor Azure environments for security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and cybersecurity with a focus on Azure.

- Proficiency in Azure services and tools: Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel etc.

- In-depth knowledge of Terraform and Pulumi IaC to provision and manage Azure resources.

- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python,Bash or similar languages.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to Azure.

- Experience with network security, IAM, penetration testing and data protection.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective R&D team interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS services - big advantage.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning automation platforms like Terraform Cloud.

- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or OWASP.
