Responsibilities

- Participate in defining and improving our platform architecture
- Design and build world-class software components, including: services, APIs, tooling, documentation
- Give feedback to and proactively seek it from your peers and stakeholders
- Work with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment
- Demonstrate your work to internal and external audiences
- Be active within our engineering community
- Participate in code reviews and feature planning tasks

Requirements

- Have a 3+ years in designing and programming in Java/Scala in Unix/Linux environment.
- Concurrency and multithreading, runtime VM, garbage collection
- Object oriented analysis and common design patterns
- Good understanding and experience with design high-loaded applications
- Experience with full software development life cycle
- Good knowledge of Relational databases and SQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with geographically dispersed team

Practical Desired Skills

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
Exposure to functional programming such as Scala/Haskell
Machine learning experience with Spark ML, Python Scikit-learn or TensorFlow
experience with Hadoop/Apache Spark/Kafka
Experience with noSql solution as MongoDB, Cassandra or ClickHouse
