Carrier Integration Engineer (offline)

WE ARE:
— a team of 19 senior engineers: Java and Front-End developers, QA & BA specialists, DevOps and Designer working with a client based in Silicon Valley, California;
— providing data and analytic tools for supply chain management.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:
— SaaS, AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, DMS), IBM App Connect (Integration Appliance, ESB)
— Java, WildFly, Angular
— Databases: Oracle, Redshift

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
— Hands-on experience with Enterprise Service Bus implementations or other business integration software
— Willingness to apply integration experience on IBM App Connect
— Web Services (SOAP & REST is mandatory)
— Operationally minded to monitor and maintain daily integration feeds
— Data formats: EDI ,XML, XSL, CSV
— Superb troubleshooting and data management skills
— Incredible attention to detail and passion for clean data
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills
— Ability to learn quickly, curious and eager
— Self-starter, responsible, and proactive

RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Possess ownership over current ESB implementation (IBM App Connect)
— Design, lead and implement gradual migration to new ESB implementation (to be chosen together with the candidate)

AS A PLUS:
— Working knowledge of IBM App Connect or other IBM integration appliance
— Domain knowledge: Transportation / Logistics / Supply Chain Technology
— Carrier web services: rating, booking, tracking
— EDI 204, 210, 214, 315 is a plus plus
— Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field;
— Exposure to security concepts / best practices
