Experienced PHP Developer [remote] (offline)

Main requirements
* Programming languages: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript
* Version control: Git/SVN
* Extensive experience with OOP
* Basic knowledge of design patterns: factory, strategy, repository etc.
* Independent and self motivated, but able to work in a team
* Loves to solve hard and diverse problems
* Loves to pick up new technologies as required
* Wants to build web applications that serve millions of users
* Writes clean, organized, reusable code
* Able to work with an existing codebase and want to improve it over time
* Love for technology & learning new things

Optional skills
* Familiar with web security & potential vulnerabilities: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), MySQL injection, CSRF etc.
* Comfortable writing complex MySQL queries
* Experience with one or more of the following frameworks: Symfony, Zend
* Familiar with PSR coding standards
* Familiar with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis etc.
* Familiar with full-text indexing solutions (ElasticSearch, Sphinx etc.)

What you'll do day-to-day
* Develop and own new products and functionalities
* Responsible for the entire cycle - take the product from design/spec state and turn it into a fully functional unit
* Refactor and optimise existing code in accordance with team standards
* Contribute to overall application architecture
* Quality and security
