Manual QA Engineer (offline)

Checkster is a leader in web-based talent decision tools that empowers companies and employers to make better hiring decisions, and improve engagement and retention. Using the new science of collective intelligence and ubiquity of social networks it delivers fast, accurate social ratings and gives organizations certainty in new hire decisions and employee promotions.
Responsibilities:
Test functionality of Client’s application and follow predefined steps to see if the tool reacts as it should
Writes test cases according to requirements
Works side-by-side with software developers to ensure test case coverage is complete
Requirements:
1,5+ years of experience in software QA
Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience with Functional, Acceptance and Regression testing
Experience using SQL to help diagnose possible bugs
Understanding of PHP and CSS
REST API testing knowledge
A good understanding of web application architecture
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English
Result driven, meaning someone who will make sure that everything is tested thoroughly
Dedicated to team success and growth
Will be a plus:

Experience in Agile software development methodologies
Understanding of PHP and CSS
Experience with Automated testing (at least basic knowledge)
