Lead/ Senior Java Backend Engineer (HERE Maps project) (offline)

We are looking for a software engineer to support a production software platform on a project which goal is to provide traffic-jam assisted driving.

There are multiple modern technical solution applied to achieve project goals: Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Protobuf, Java/Scala data layer implementation

Requirements:
* At least 5 years hands-on coding with Java
* At least 1 year hands-on experience with Scala
* Java 8 experience is mandatory
* Java Streaming API
* Flink, Spark, Kafka
* MapReduce in Hadoop
* Redis or alternative KV-storage understanding

Would be an asset:

• Basic AWS know-how
• Maven, Gradle or Ant
• Protobuf
• Grafana, Splunk
