Senior Marketing Director (offline)

We seek a capable, talented, and hungry Marketing Director to spearhead our company's entirely new approach to Marketing and Sales which is the idea of both teams working together to achieve a common purpose. This includes devising and executing strategies to bolster our market presence and establish a distinct brand identity.

 

The perfect candidate will have extensive experience in this role working for a US company and a strong interest in this field. Additionally, the perfect candidate will have a PROVEN track record of developing an SMB’s online presence and brand voice. They must possess exceptional strategic planning skills and have the ability to inspire creativity and passion in their team. Our objective is to grow our market share and gain new Clients as well as position us for success in the face of competition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends

• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

• Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.)

• Supporting the marketing team with marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas, including optimization, advertising, social media, direct marketing, and event planning.

• Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns

• Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts

• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (traditional and digital)

• Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

• Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned

• Track competitors and stay current on their digital strategies

• Develop and deploy a marketing retargeting strategy

• Manage and grow PPC campaigns

• Manage and optimize website landing pages

• Report to the Executive Team on overall progress and provide recommendations

• Define and execute a strategy around increasing awareness with our target Personas

 

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. (Master's degree strongly preferred)

• Proven experience as a marketing specialist or similar role (3 or more years of marketing director experience) for a US-based company

• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.

• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.

• Deep experience with Google Adwords and LinkedIn advertising

• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)

• Well-organized and detail-oriented

• Exceptional communication and writing skills

• Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
