We’re looking for a Junior React Developer with knowledge of React.js, HTML, CSS and has an intermediate level of English. That’s quite a list right? But for this, you will receive a lot in return!

As a junior React.js developer, you will grow your skills to the next level with clear roadmap. At Giftcards Group you will start intensive training — you could compare this to a traineeship. The program looks like this: in the first 2 months you will do a lot of learning and after this you’re welcomed in our development team.

 

So your tasks summed up:

 

— Maintaining our processing/management system

 

— Building new features

 

— Creating new API’s for the ReactJS team

 

— Improving your programming skills

 

— Working together with the development team located in Ukraine

 

— Working together with the PO’s located in Amsterdam

Where will you be working?

 

Giftcards Group, was founded on the kitchen table. Our founder was thinking of a gift for a friend of his. A gift card for jewelry was the original idea. And now a couple of years later Giftcards Group is working to become the biggest gift card provider in the Netherlands. The daily operations are based in the Netherlands, but the in-house development team is located in Ukraine. Slowly but steady we’re also busy expanding our specialism over to the United Kingdom, Belgium and many more European countries.

 

What are we expecting from you?

 

— Good knowledge HTML/CSS

 

— Understanding CSS Modules

 

— Experience in JavaScript

 

— Experience in React

 

— Experience in React Hooks would be a plus

 

The motivation to learn and receive feedback to make your programming skills better.

 

At least an intermediate level of English verbally and written.

 

If you have any experience in Typescript, Next.js, Unit Testing, GraphQL, Git and Jira then you have an advantage!
