Back-End Software Engineer (Ruby) (offline)

SUMMARY

We’re looking for Back-End Software Engineer (Ruby) experienced in building complex web applications and in writing clean and maintainable Ruby code, testing and eliminating bugs. High-level of self-management skills and capable of controlling time and project status.

SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails and RSpec
• Experience in commercial web application development
• Ability to design complex architectural solutions
• Working experience with third-party APIs
• Experience in developing APIs
• Hands-on experience with integrations (payment, mail and other service providers)
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Experience in working with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop complex server-side logic and build a high-load system architecture
• Design, develop, and support a Ruby/Rails web applications
• Create automation, unit and functional tests
• Prepare API documentation
• Review code of other team members
• Share experience and mentor other team members
