Solutions Architect (offline) to $10000

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Solution Architect specializing in application, data, and cloud sales. This role is ideal for someone who has not only a deep understanding of cloud modernization and data engineering but also a proven track record in crafting and delivering their proposals. The candidate should be adept in Large Language Models (LLMs), possess expert-level knowledge in at least one Cloud Service Provider (CSP) hyper-scaler, and have exceptional skills in creating visually compelling PowerPoint presentations. Prior experience in the Service Industry, especially within a Big 4 firm, is highly desirable.

 

As a Solution Architect in sales, you will lead technical workshops, advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions, and design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud and data architectures that address customer business challenges. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced AWS, Azure or GCP cloud-based solutions. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to this role. You will possess customer-facing skills that will allow you to represent us well within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables you to interact and give guidance to software developers and delivery architects easily. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think structured about business, product, and technical challenges. As an SA in Sales, you will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones so that you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Solution Architecture and Proposal Development:

Design comprehensive solutions that integrate application modernization, data engineering, and cloud technologies.

Take full ownership of proposal development, from initial concept to final presentation, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.

Lead the technical aspect of sales engagements, providing both strategic and practical insights.

2. Expertise in Data Engineering and Cloud Technologies:

Employ deep knowledge in data engineering to advise on data migration, optimization, and management in cloud environments.

Showcase expertise in at least one major CSP hyper-scaler to architect robust and scalable cloud solutions.

3. Innovation and LLM Knowledge:

Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, particularly in Large Language Models, and leverage this knowledge to enhance solution offerings.

Innovate and propose new ways to integrate emerging technologies into client solutions.

4. Visual and Persuasive Communication:

Develop and deliver compelling, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex technical solutions.

Utilize visual storytelling techniques to influence and persuade a diverse range of stakeholders.

5. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Build and nurture long-term client relationships, understanding their evolving needs and how our services can support their success.

Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify opportunities for business growth and service improvement.

6. Industry Experience and Insight:

Apply insights and experiences gained from previous roles in the Service Industry, particularly in a Big 4 firm, to navigate complex enterprise environments and exceed client expectations.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a solution architect role, with a focus on cloud, application modernization, and data engineering.

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering successful proposals.

In-depth understanding of Data Engineering concepts and practices.

Proficiency in at least one CSP hyper-scaler.

Advanced skills in creating visually expressive PowerPoint presentations.

Prior experience in the Service Industry, ideally with a Big 4 firm.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and industry events.

 

How You’ll Make Your Mark:

 

Understand the customer’s business, data, and application requirements and translate them into system / technical requirements

Provide exceptional technical designs and thought leadership

Lead technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions

Ensure success in designing, building and modernizing applications, software, data capabilities and services onto modern Hybrid HyperScaler environments

Educate customers on best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

Work with delivery teams to ensure quality and customer success

Capture and share knowledge with the broader technical experts community
